The Salted Bean is a progressive coffee shop that came to me wanting a retro inspired brand and logo with its own voice and personality. I choose to use a display script that resembled the past with a modern twist that would keep it memorable and timeless. I added high end touches to the environmental and collateral design giving it a modern, minimal appeal to the utilitarian but style-savvy demographic.
The goal was to design a strong wordmark with an icon that could be used for social media and a system of secondary marks to use throughout other collateral. At Salted Bean Coffee you should expect coffee at it's very best, each sip full of flavor when it hits your palate. Now you can experience the very best brand to support that.
